![]() One great addition is like a standard visual novel you have your history of all the text you have read – but in this one, you can go back at a specific point in the game by just clicking on the row you want, which is great in my opinion and gives you a choice if you want it. The gameplay is your average visual novel, you read text and progress the story, at some point in the game you make decisions where to go, depends on which girl you are going at the moment, there are also other gameplay mechanics like investigating but I will leave them to you to discover. You will be please to see what happens – you don't need to play the other 2 games, but it will be waay better if you did. I recommend to play them after you finish at least 1 route, and very last to play after the main game ends. There are also side episodes which unlock while you play the main game, but you can unlock them in the Extra menu. And BELIEVE me you need to do it, because the True Route is where the game shines. And like Da Capo 2 – there are True Routes which unlock after you finish the girls routes. The story is great of itself, there is a main plot in the game – but it's unlocked only after you finish all the girls routes. No longer everybody loves the main character you have to earn that !! And you go on a Magic School and it's great. But here is where the good part comes – after a while, you pass the prologue section and go to the past, where everything is way different. ![]() It was like one day he is with one girl, the next with the other – rinse and repeat until you pass all the girls. Other than that, they went overboard with the fan-service in this prologues section, which put me off. Which is bizarre, most of the time there will be one girl, and the other girls will like the main characters only after some event. From the very beginning EVERY girl likes the main character. The atmosphere of Da Capo is there, you once again go to a school, and there are many girls to choose from – but there is one problem. And at one point I thought to drop the game, since I was coming from Da Capo 2 – and there almost 1h and I loved most of the characters that were introduced. My first impressions of the game were awful – I did not like the main characters one bit, only I liked Ricca a little bit. ![]() In the main game, you play some years after Da Capo 2 (I don't know exactly how many) and after the prologue you play in the past (way before Da Capo 1). And I was happy to know that Da Capo 3 has some progress into the story after Da Capo 2. I played the first one,the second one and Da Capo IF (which is a continuation from one of the routes of Da Capo 1). This will be a long one so bear with me, or just skip to the end to see the verdict.įirst I want to add, that this is not my first entry into Da Capo. ![]() All routes, all scenes & all CG's unlocked. You can start WiXOSS from this set. This took a while, but I wanted to finish fully the game. It will be released at the same time as the four "DIVA DEBUT DECK", and GLOWING DIVA" is the second expansion pack of "WIXOSS ENGLISH EDITION". : The next time you would take damage this turn, instead you do not take that damage.
